At 6-foot-3, 290 pounds, Tuttle has been dominating on the varsity level since his freshman year. He battled injuries last season but when healthy Tuttle is among the nation’s best.


02 Jalen Dalton DE N/A

West Forsyth H.S./Clemmons, N.C.

Dalton has the length that many coaches love in a defensive end. He’s 6-foot-6, 220 pounds and a fierce pass rusher.


03 Darian Roseboro DL N/A

Lincolnton H.S./Lincolnton, N.C.

Roseboro is another prospect that has been dominating on the varsity level since his freshman year. At 6-foot-4, 295 pounds, he can play defensive end and defensive tackle.


04 Johnny Frasier RB N/A

Princeton H.S./Princeton, N.C.

Frasier comes from a small school but he is a big-time running back. His speed and size (5-11, 200) are elite and he has offers from the likes of Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, and many more.


05 Mark Fields CB South Carolina

Fields is an elite cover corner and he’s also dangerous with the ball in his hands. His dad played in the NFL and Fields hopes to follow in his footsteps.

Hines is arguably the most dangerous offensive threat in the state, if not the country. He can also play corner, but many are recruiting him as a slot.


07 Emanuel McGirt OL North Carolina

Hillside H.S./Durham, N.C.

McGirt showed significant improvement from his sophomore to junior year. He’s 6-foot-6, 265 pounds and an elite offensive tackle at the next level.


08 Mook Reynolds DB Virginia Tech

Northern Guilford H.S./Greensboro, N.C.

Reynolds spent time at wide receiver and defensive back last fall. He was an early commitment to Virginia Tech and will likely play cornerback in college.


09 Van Smith ATH Clemson

Hough H.S./Cornelius, N.C.

Smith is another star that plays on both sides of the ball. He can play running back, wide receiver, cornerback and safety. His best fit at the next level is likely safety.


10 Tanner Muse DB Clemson

South Point H.S./Belmont, N.C.

Muse is a true headhunter at the safety position. He has tremendous speed and has a great frame at 6-foot-3, 210 pounds. Some feel his frame will allow him to play linebacker in college.


11 Mason Veal OL North Carolina

Ardrey Kell H.S./Charlotte, N.C.

Veal is 6-foot-6, 285 pounds and very athletic for his size. Despite being a family legacy to South Carolina, he decided to commit to North Carolina.

Randleman H.S./Randleman, N.C.

Mollette is a tall, athletic wide receiver that can go up and catch the ball at its highest point. All of the in-state schools are after the talented playmaker.

Reid has helped lead his team to back-to-back state title appearances. He’s a big back that is extremely productive and dependable.

Wake Forest H.S./Wake Forest, N.C.

Love is arguably the fastest prospect in the nation. He not only excels on the football field, but is also a nationally elite track star.


15 Carl Tucker WR North Carolina

Hough H.S./Cornelius, N.C.

Tucker transferred to Hough as a junior after starting his high school career at J.M. Robinson High in Concord, N.C. Tucker plays wide receiver but could be a linebacker at the next level.


16 Anthony Ratliff QB North Carolina

Butler H.S./Matthews, N.C.

Ratliff is the latest quarterback to come out of Butler. The school has previously produced D-I QBs Jacob Charest, Christian LeMay and Riley Ferguson.


17 Mike Hughes DB N/A

New Bern H.S./New Bern, N.C.

Out of necessity, Hughes played quarterback last season for New Bern. He is an elite cover corner and has ideal size for the position.

Daniel is still learning the position but many love his upside and athleticism. He’s 6-foot-5, 250 pounds and has good length.


19 Paris Black DE Wake Forest

Terry Sanford H.S./Fayetteville, N.C.

Black was injured most of last season but came back toward the end of year to wreak havoc on opposing offenses. He recently committed to Wake Forest and will star at defensive end.


20 Michael Bowman WR South Carolina

Havelock H.S./Havelock, N.C.

Bowman is one of the top wide receivers in the state. He has a younger brother that is already committed to North Carolina.


21 Stephen Griffin DB Tennessee

South Meck H.S./Charlotte, N.C.

Griffin started his high school career at Tabb High in Yorktown, Va. Griffin’s dad played at Clemson, but Stephen has decided to attend Tennessee.


22 Cameron Harris WR/DB N/A

Northern Guilford H.S./Greensboro, N.C.

Harris is the brother of former Northern Guilford and California wide receiver Maurice Harris. Cameron stood out on both sides of the ball and currently has offers from N.C. State and Notre Dame.


23 Malik Douglas DE N.C. State

South Brunswick H.S./Southport, N.C.

Douglas is an athletic defensive end that is a fierce pass rusher. He made an early commitment to N.C. State and has a lot of upside.


24 Damien Dozier DE/LB N/A

Ravenscroft School/Raleigh, N.C.

Dozier originally started his high school career at Enloe HS in Raleigh, NC. He transferred up to Virginia but will now play his senior ball at Ravenscroft. He's 6-4, 225 pounds and has tons of upside.


25 Kendall Hinton QB Wake Forest

Southern Durham H.S./Durham, N.C.

Hinton is 6-foot-0, 180 pounds and helped lead Southern to a state title in 2013. He has offers from schools such as Boston College, Duke and N.C. State but ultimately chose Wake Forest.


26 Anthony Rush DL/TE N/A

Cary H.S./Cary, N.C.

Rush transferred to Cary from Heritage High in Wake Forest, N.C. He played mostly tight end last season but also excelled on the defensive line toward the end of the year.


27 Jaylend Ratliffe QB Georgia Tech

Scotland H.S./Laurinburg, N.C.

Ratliffe is raw as a passer but can run like a deer. He helped lead Scotland to a state title appearance last season and will be a perfect fit for Georgia Tech’s offense.


28 Jaire Alexander DB/WR South Carolina

Rocky River H.S./Mint Hill, N.C.

Alexander originally committed to Charlotte but had an unbelievable camp at South Carolina during the summer. The 5-11, 170 pounder can play on both sides of the ball.


29 Sterling Johnson DT Clemson

Cleveland H.S./Clayton, N.C.

Johnson has great size at 6-foot-4, 280 pounds and some feel he could be an effective offensive lineman. He recently decided to end the process early and selected the Clemson Tigers.


30 Brian Chaffin OL Stanford

Charlotte Christian/Charlotte, N.C.

Chaffin is a tough, hard-nosed interior offensive lineman that has interest from all of the in-state schools. He’s 6-foot-2, 280 pounds and arguably one of the top centers in the nation.


31 Houshun Gaines DE N/A

Nash Central H.S./Rocky Mount, N.C.

Gaines saw his recruitment explode during the spring and has offers from schools such as Florida, Miami and Virginia Tech.


32 Reggie Gallaspy RB N/A

Southern Guilford H.S./Greensboro, N.C.

Gallaspy is a big back that was Southern Guilford’s entire offense last season. He’s 6-foot-0, 205 pounds and has a number of FBS programs chasing after him.

Owen H.S./Black Mountain, N.C.

Gardner plays running back for Owen and he’s a legit 6-foot-2, 200-plus pounds. He currently has an offer from Virginia and could play linebacker at the next level.

Victory Christian/Charlotte, N.C.

Holmes played tight end and linebacker last season for Victory. He helped lead his team to a state title appearance and already has an offer from Kentucky.

Roseboro suffered a season-ending knee injury during a jamboree last fall. He is a ball hawk and is a prime candidate to move into the Top 20 with a strong senior season.

Bell is part of a loaded defensive backfield at Hough. His dad played in the NFL and Bell is one of the top cover corners in the state.

Independence H.S./Charlotte, N.C.

Alexander is 6-foot-1, 180 pounds and has good ball skills. He has an offer from Virginia Tech and plays for arguably the most dominate program in the history of North Carolina high school football.


38 Brian Sessoms WR N.C. State

Carver H.S./Winston-Salem, N.C.

Sessoms is a blazer and recently posted a sub 4.4-second time in the 40 at the Shrine Bowl combine. The speedster is committed to N.C. State.


39 William Cameron ATH West Virginia

Southern Durham H.S./Durham, N.C.

Cameron is a longtime West Virginia commitment and he’s among the fastest prospects in the state. The 5-foot-9, 160-pounder will be a big part of Southern Durham’s title defense this season.


40 Lee Autry DT Wake Forest

Albemarle H.S./Albemarle, N.C.

Autry is another prospect on this list that has stood out on varsity since his freshman year. His brother went to Mississippi State but the younger Autry is committed to Wake Forest.


41 Amari Henderson DB N/A

Mallard Creek H.S./Charlotte, N.C.

Henderson is a tall corner that already has offers from Kentucky and Wake Forest. He’s not as athletic as teammate Nafees Lyons, but he has the size that most colleges desire.

Sun Valley H.S./Monroe, N.C.

The 6-foot-0, 200-pounder has offers from Duke and Northwestern. He’s been highly productive over the last two seasons for Sun Valley.

Morehead is considered an N.C. State lean and can play wide receiver and safety. Despite being injured part of last season, he still managed to be highly productive.

Davis is 6-0, 180 pounds and already has offers from Boston College, Iowa State, and Old Dominion. He played primarily linebacker last season but is a safety at the next level.

Furlow is another of the state’s talented running backs. He has a number of FBS offers and is a threat to score every time that he touches the ball.

Smith-Williams is a great student and also a standout on the football field. He has a great frame at 6-4, 200 pounds and has an offer from N.C. State.

Brown is a big kid at 6-foot-3, 320 pounds. He is an early commitment to East Carolina and has an excellent motor.

Marshall is the younger brother of Georgia RB Keith Marshall. The younger Marshall is a player as well and can play a number of positions at the next level.

Mugala has a high ceiling and is still growing. He’s 6-foot-3, 215 pounds and reminds some of former Ardrey Kell standout Romeo Okwara.
