The 6-foot-3, 280-pounder has a great motor and is incredibly strong. He has offers from the likes of Florida, Georgia, Clemson and many other top college programs.

 

02 Shameik Blackshear DE South Carolina

Bluffton H.S./Bluffton, S.C.

Many compare the 6-foot-5, 235-pounder to former Gamecock Jadeveon Clowney. Blackshear is extremely athletic and has also spent time on the offensive side of the ball at tight end and running back.

 

03 Michael Barnett DL N/A

Woodland H.S./Dorchester, S.C.

Barnett was originally committed to Virginia Tech, but changed his mind earlier this year. At 6-foot-4, 250 pounds, he has a ton of upside and has college football powerhouses like Alabama chasing after him.

Summerville H.S./Summerville, S.C.

The 6-foot-5, 305-pound Bailey looks like a future NFL offensive lineman. He is strong as an ox and moves extremely well for his size. It appears to be an in-state battle for him between Clemson and South Carolina.

Originally from Georgia, Williams is now one of the hottest commodities in the state of South Carolina. At 5-foot-11, 190 pounds, he runs with power, but speed is also one of his greatest assets.

Bryant originally started his high school career at Abbeville, but he transferred to Wren as a junior and had a terrific year. At 6-foot-4, 195 pounds, he is a dangerous dual-threat QB.

Greenwood H.S./Greenwood, S.C.

Chalmers is a highly coveted lockdown corner that is committed to Clemson. He has great ball skills and his 5-foot-11, 170-pound frame is ideal for playing cornerback at the FBS level.

 

08 J.J. Arcega-Whiteside WR N/A

Dorman H.S./Roebuck, S.C.

Coach Dave Gutshall says Arcega-Whiteside is one of the best wide receivers he’s ever coached. That’s high praise as Dorman alums include Charon Peake and Adam Humphries.

Boiling Springs H.S./Boiling Springs, S.C.

Green is a combine warrior and at 6-foot-4, 285 pounds he’s exactly what a coach wants in an offensive lineman. He committed early to Clemson.

Swansea H.S./Swansea, S.C.

Sutton was one of the hottest prospects in the state until he injured his knee early last season. He’s healthy now and ready to show everyone why he’s one of the state’s top players.

Not a lot of people know about the 6-foot-6, 280-pounder from Columbia, S.C. Daley has great feet for his size and shows a good punch off of the ball. On upside alone, there might not be a better OL in the state.

Bamberg-Ehrhardt H.S./Bamberg, S.C.

Many believe Davis will end up at Clemson. At 6-foot-4, 220 pounds, he is a terror at defensive end, but he also showed well at wide receiver. He’s the next great defensive lineman to come out of Bamberg.

Clemons is originally from the Northeast and is now one of the most coveted prospects in the Palmetto State. He’s raw but at 6-foot-6, 210 pounds he has a ton of upside.

Fort Dorchester H.S./North Charleston, S.C.

Bryant is the run-stopping, gap-plugging defensive tackle that every team needs. He’s 6-foot-2, 315 pounds and has a motor that never stops.

Byrnes H.S./Duncan, S.C.

Richardson plays for arguably the top program in the state. He can play wide receiver and tight end, but with his 6-foot-4, 210-pound frame he might be better suited at tight end.

Pelion H.S./Pelion, S.C.

Phillips recently committed to N.C. State and has started on varsity at wide receiver since his freshman year. He’s 6-foot-2, 175 pounds and has the most upside at the safety position.

South Florence H.S./Florence, S.C.

Hines is one of the fastest prospects in the state. He’s 5-foot-10, 175 pounds and was a huge reason for South Florence’s tremendous success last season.

Fairfield Central H.S./Winnsboro, S.C.

Young was a key cog to Fairfield’s state championship appearance last season. The 6-foot-1, 185-pounder plays running back but could be a wide receiver or defensive back at the next level.

Colleton County H.S./Walterboro, S.C.

The 6-foot-1, 170-pound Nieves is a late bloomer. Originally a basketball player, he showed his talents on the gridiron last fall and is a playmaker with exceptional speed.

Dillon H.S./Dillon, S.C.

The 6-foot-2, 180-pound Hayes passes the look test with ease. He couldn’t be stopped in the state title game last season and has Appalachian State heavily pursuing him.

Johnson is a standout on both sides of the ball. At 6-foot-2, 190 pounds, he is equipped to play wide receiver or defensive back and he’s one of the strongest guys in the state.

Emerald H.S./Greenwood, S.C.

Cervenka, who is also one of the top wrestlers in the nation, committed to Clemson early in the process. The 6-foot-3, 270-pound prospect will likely be a defensive tackle for the Tigers.

 

23 T.J. Haney OL Wake Forest

Gaffney H.S./Gaffney, S.C.

At 6-foot-6, 330 pounds, Haney is a hard guy to miss. He’s stood out since his freshman year and will be the next great prospect to come out of Gaffney. He’s already committed to Wake Forest.

 

24 D’Andre Lee-Smith DE/LB N/A

Hammond School/Columbia, S.C.

Lee-Smith is a standout on the gridiron as well as the hardwood. He’s 6-foot-4, 218 pounds and has tons of upside. Look for his offer list to explode during the camp circuit.

 

25 Shaq Crouch DT/OL N/A

Johnsonville H.S./Johnsonville, S.C.

Crouch is another kid that passes the eyeball test at 6-foot-4, 290 pounds. He plays defensive tackle and offensive line and has a mean streak. He’s also very athletic for his size.

 

26 Markeyvious Adams WR N/A

Greenwood H.S./Greenwood, S.C.

Adams is a basketball player that decided to give football a try. At 6-foot-4. 185 pounds, he already has offers from Appalachian State, Georgia State, Marshall and ODU.

Batesburg-Leesville H.S./Batesburg, S.C.

McKiever played a big role in Batesburg-Leesville winning a state title last season. The 6-foot-4, 280-pounder is extremely athletic and one of the top defensive linemen in the state.

Richardson is a productive wide receiver that has a nice frame at 6-foot-1, 170 pounds. He had a great junior year and recently decided to commit to East Carolina.

Northwestern H.S./Rock Hill, S.C.

Despite his 5-foot-8, 170-pound stature, Hart is pound for pound arguably the top player in the state. He’s also a standout on the baseball diamond and has been tearing it up on the varsity level since his freshman year.

North Myrtle Beach H.S./Little River, S.C.

Gore recently committed to ECU and is he one of the state’s top playmakers. He’s 6-foot-1, 172 pounds and is likely a safety at the next level.

Goose Creek H.S./Goose Creek, S.C.

Johnson went from backing up Caleb Kinlaw last season to being the main man by the end of year. He has Charlotte and Appalachian State offers and is an impressive 5-foot-10, 175 pounds.

Lee is 6-foot-3, 175 pounds and already has an offer from Appalachian State. He is a big target but also is physical and has solid hands.

Frazier is a playmaker and has a number of mid-major offers. He’s 6-foot-2, 180 pounds and one of the top wide receivers in the Lowcountry.

Klugh has great ball skills but must add weight as some schools are recruiting him at cornerback and some at safety. He’s 5-foot-11, 175 pounds and can play either position.

Belton is a lot like future Clemson Tiger and Blythewood alum Jalen Williams. He’s 6-foot-0, 210 pounds and a solid football player. Belton is a guy that should explode onto the scene this fall.

Colburn is just 5-foot-8, 180 pounds but he is a tremendous football player. He helped guide Dutch Fork to a state title and fans count on his production week in and week out.

Welch excels at cornerback and running back. He’s 6-foot-0, 180 pounds and a threat to score every time he touches the football.

Rookard ran a sub 4.4-second 40 at a recent Shrine Bowl combine and he did that at 6-foot-1, 180 pounds. He has a great frame and can hit.

Davis is a standout in football and basketball. He passes the look test at 6-foot-1, 180 pounds. He’s likely a safety at the next level but has the frame to grow into an outside linebacker.

White and teammate Eurndraus Bryant help form arguably the top defensive line duo in the state. White is 6-foot-4, 220 pounds and is still growing.

Reed is a dependable target and a physical tight end. He’s 6-foot-3, 225 pounds and already has a number of mid-major offers.

King is 6-foot-2, 190 pounds and recently transferred to Westside from Mary Persons High School in Forsyth, Ga. He is an accurate passer that has good arm strength, and he’s also very athletic.

Johnson played offensive line last season but should see a lot of time at defensive end this fall. He’s 6-foot-5, 250 pounds and has a lot of upside.

Taylor is 6-8, 295 pounds and currently has an offer from Middle Tennessee State. Other schools like App State are also very high on the big offensive lineman.

At 6-foot-2, 265 pounds, Mangum is very strong and moves well for his size. He has numerous high-level FCS offers.

Lemon is a solid cover corner but he’s also a sure tackler. At 5-foot-11, 175 pounds, he is one of the top cornerbacks in the state.

DuRant started his high school career at Sumter, but the 6-foot-6, 320-pounder has made a name for himself at Manning Academy. He already has a few mid-major offers.
