AV Top 150 for 2011: Version 3.0

After watching hours of game and highlight film and attending games from across the country, AthleteVault.com is ready to announce their third top list for 2011. This update adds an additional 50 names to complete the AV Top 150 for 2011. AV's top prospect for 2011 is Jadeveon Clowney from Rock Hill, SC. Clowney burst onto the scene as a sophomore and helped South Pointe HS have one of the top defenses in the country. This season Clowney has added some weight and now stands at 6'6", 240 pounds. Clowney has been unblockable this season and despite gaining weight, he still displays incredible speed around the edge. Many are comparing him to former South Carolina HS standout, Carlos Dunlap. The top 3 remains unchanged from the previous update and it’s going to be tough to unseat Clowney, Jernigan, and Brown from their spots. Film will not be included in this edition but it will be added to later updates. AV has already broken down a number of games on these juniors and has delivered it to college coaches. In addition, a list of top schools will not be included. Due to the fact that many of these kids will continue to pile up offers, it's safe to assume that their list of top schools will change on a consistent basis.
