Ronnie Wingo, the 6-2 210 pound running back from St. Louis, Missouri currently has offers from the likes of Oklahoma, Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Tennessee, and Minnesota. He’s visited a couple of schools and is focusing on going through the process right now.

“I really don’t have any favorites right now,” Wingo said. “I’m just going through the process right now and all the schools are recruiting me hard. I’ve talked to each of the coaches once a week. They all say the same things pretty much. I’m going to make my top five at the end of the school year.”

A couple of months ago, Wingo visited two schools and recently participated in a 7 on 7 tournament at USF in Tampa, Florida. He was hoping to see some of USF’s campus, but was unable to while he participated in the event.

“I have visited Illinois and Missouri so far,” he said. “I went down to a 7 on 7 tournament in Tampa recently. We were supposed to visit USF while we were there but they didn’t manage the time well. I’m kind of exhausted from making all of these visits, so I’m not going to take anymore until this summer. I’m going to a meeting for the Army All-American game coming up.”

Wingo is looking for a number of things in each school. Once he has narrowed down his list, he will start to think about when he will be making his decision.

“I am going to look at the depth at my position and make a choice off of that,” he said. “The depth, coaching experience, team and coach reputation are the main things that will influence my decision. I’m not going to make my decision soon. Whenever I narrow down my top five schools then I will start thinking about it.”
